The parched land is being given water................It was late this year....must have been needed somewhere else?
The chickens have their shelter, the garden needs the free water.... still wake up every morning, so no complaints today.

it almost never rains in sunny Las Vegas - we miss the rain.
Funny how you get use to it and then you can't live without it! I love the hard,gutters overflowing rain (as long as I am inside watching)that comes for a hour or two and then the sun comes out....simply nature at it's best! The rain I don't care for is the constant overcast gray sky with mist to drops that lasts for months.... (Seattle) kind of rain. Hurry home, and don't leave too many pesos in Vegas...
Rain started last night in our corner of MX ... kids played in it all afternnon.
Yeah, here too, better late than never! Love the sound of the gutter runoff too. Mmm, mmm. The garden is gorgeous.

Just in time to enjoy the downpours, and green grass. Now you have to compensate for the recipes using flour...
Oh, I don´t think it was particularly late this year. It just varies. It balks at being pigeonholed.
But it´s here, and it´s nice. I mowed my grass for the first time this year last Thursday, and 36 hours later it looked like it could use another trim. Won´t get it, however. Once a week is my limit.
