Ok, I sort of hinted we were on an island.....so here it is. I have been on lots of islands, resorts, all over the place. This island was on the Pacific Ocean which makes it a lot closer than going to Fiji, Tahiti or Islands on the Caribbean.
I have been wanting to check this place out for about 30 years already and figured this was going to be the year.
Since La Senoras birthday was this week, why not combine my wanderlust and make it into a nice getaway on the island.
We left the doggies alone for an overnight and day trip and became just a middle-aged couple again.
It was nice to give and get attention without the doggies needing attention for a tad.
I know that my amigo from Xico will immediately know where we wound up,... for the rest of you, take a guess.

It was our first time in Avalon, on Santa Catalina island.
Been there, done that, now ready for more adventures..... It was an nice getaway, but not worth the hassle of getting there....
Now we will meet dear friends in Northern California for a nice get together for dinner and stories....
I will pass on the Feliz Cumpleaños para mi esposa, to my bride.
