Father arrested for picking up his children from school

Is a headline that you will never see here in Mexico.

Kids here are allowed to run around and play, they also can walk home from school, their parents can pick them up, either in a car, a pickup truck, their horse , motorcycle, scooter and of course the taxi.

Check out this video from the US where they arrest the father for trying to pick up his kids at school.   VIDEO.

This is not unique to that school, many schools say it is too dangerous to not pick up the kid in the family car, so you must sit at the roadway running the engine for up to a half hour so the children will be "safe". ( polluting the air is ok I guess)

What if you don't own a car or have a drivers license?
