The Dirt, The Noise, The Dust, just keep coming.

Well as you know they are widening the road, which has been the cause for lots of consternation around here. The hole which the excavator is digging is in the bottom of our canyon, that separates the two properties.
Why is the hole so big?
No one can answer that.
On the road up about 1 km, they made a large under crossing tunnel under the highway, perhaps that is what they are going to do here.
Time will tell,
In the meantime, dirt, lots of dirt.
Perhaps they assumed that the canyon was caused because of the flow of water from the hills coming down into the road, which is what we thought of, but in 15+ years have never seen much water flow down, let along puddle up.
A mystery.
