Try it on for size
Well I see some fellow bloggers have gone incognito.
The Shadow knows who they are though.
I think I will try this mask on for size.
You can win a prize if you know who the man in my profile picture is.
One guess, it's not me.
I don't look that handsome.
One hint.
He was born in Vicam, a small village in Sonora, on the road between Ciudad Obregon and Hermosillo. In the early 1900's .
Will my mask work?
Time will tell!
Now I can do things only my imagination will know!

Alfonso Bedoya - "Gold hat" Treasure of the Sierra Madre - John Houston Director - 1948 Hee Hee What did I win :)
Gee, that was too easy I guess, but not for a history buff like you! I don't know, I 'll have to figure it our....how about winning the coveted title of the useless trivia historian of today!
We pass through Vicam a couple of times a year and one of these days I think I will convince my wife to detour and see if they have a statue in the plaza for him?
Gee. I was going to guess Anthony Quinn. But then, he was born in Chihuahua.
O.k. Who was the actor who said, "I don' need to show you no steenkin' badges!"?

PS: Why "Constantino"?
Constantino,
I'm sorry. I didn't want to ruin your game. Please forgive me. It really wasn't all that easy. The guy looked really familiar but I almost blew a fuse thinking about it. The problem was that I didn't recognize him right away without his hat. Go ahead, do another one and I will hang back for a little while and then it's double or nothing. Okay? :)
Seems as though Alfonso Bedoya was the "steenkin' badges" hombre.

Yep, he started the cult saying of the no badges remark. During the early 60's there was a local tv show put on ABC in SF that a DJ named AL Collins did, Jazbo Collins and one of his shtick was to induct members into his morning club. He would make you wear a sombrero and repeat into the camera, I'no got to show you no stinken badges.....amazing how that became such a used phrase.
Constantine is my middle name, and the locals do not understand Kenneth, so it's Constantino down here. That is accepted sans lengthy repetition or explanations.
