The rains have ceased.........for now!

Today is the 3nd day that we didn't have rain here in a long time. Yes it is the rainy season by they usually subside by October or so.

Back to the routine means lots of fresh fruit, fresh juice and nice sunny temperate weather. Living in Mexico has some real advantage that you simply could not afford in the states. Stuff like fresh fruit and fresh juice made daily.

Today I made two fruit plates starting with cantaloupe, melon, pear, banana alongside cottage cheese topped with granola.
Sprinkling it with honey is optional but many people do add some sweetness to the fruit.
Mandatory is squeezing some fresh lime on all the fruit.

Today I juiced up about 3 kilos of carrots in our juicer. That will be enough for breakfast today and tomorrow at least. NOB the carrots would cost at least $5 or 6 dollars. Here I paid 15 pesos. At todays rate thats about $1.25.

So, enjoying the weather today will peak at about 80 up here, no humidity, what else could you ask for?

Steve....Come on Down.....
Calypso... Mexico is the only place I can afford the veggies, other than growing my own.
I love fresh juices and have an extractor style juicer, the pulp goes into the compost bin, so I know you will approve!

Tancho, what are you smoking? This is the fifth straight day of blue skies, not the third.
