- I have spent lots of time in the communications business, radio, telephone, commercial satellite. Now it's winding down, still doing some broadcasting but less and less. BUT my hobbies....Since I didn't own a fishing rod or a wood shop, didn't have a stamp or coin collection, didn't spend much time with photography or other hobbies I took up cooking. Went to school, then cooked at wineries, taught classes for awhile and did catering on the side. So now I have had a couple of classes down here at my house from time to time in between the stuff people do here.
