My addiction......

After spending almost half my life in remote mountain top locations, where the quiet, the view and the tranquility was only interrupted by a static emanating from a radio loudspeaker, I still enjoy the views.
This is a view from Cerro Blanco, which overlooks the entrance to Patzcuaro.
Click on it and you should see the detail , maybe your house. Or maybe where you would like to have a house.
Just my addiction. I admit it, and they say that realizing the problem and accepting it is half the battle.......

Nice shot. I have no idea where that is.

Perhaps if the fine citizen from the small pueblo ventured into the big city more often he would know that when he passes the glorieta and looks at the big mountain on his left, he would know where that is.

Really fine photo hombre - I can see how that might get addicting.

I have heard several people compare Patzcuaro with central Oregon. With that photograph, you nailed the metaphor.

I have read comparisons between Michoacán and Hawaii. Never having been in Hawaii, I cannot say whether that is a legit comparison.

But I would like to go to Hawaii.

Felipe, if you go to your outside of your abode and look south, you will see it.
Not as high as Mt Fujitaco but still impressive!
And don't bother with Hawaii, it was nice to visit years ago. Now it is way to commercialized and full of too many people. Zihuatanejo is a much better and closer alternative, and it is less taxing on the pesos..

Where's the tower? Where's the transmitter building? Where's the 4CX250B's?
Anyone who knows that last one is a true radio nerd...

Radio Nerd eh? That's Sir Radio Nerd.
The tower is behind me on the photo, if you ever show down here, I'll take you up there, and a few more neat sites. Go to: http://ranchocanyon.blogspot.com/2009/05/look-up-in-mountain-its-tower.html
you might enjoy those.

We hiked up there on our last trip to your beautiful town. We were surprised that there were others who hike up there quite often. Nice place!

Our time in and around Patzcuaro during December 2008 was one of the highlights of our stay in MX. Just beautiful.
