Yep, still alive and well and on the road.....

We are on the road, so to say. After all the excitment of the small rock, we decided to take to the road and check out some big rocks.

I can't believe how wierd the weather in Patzcuaro has been this last season. We had rains when there were not suppose to be, days of overcast without the sun peeping out to warm us up and going through lots of wood to keep the fireplaces going.

Some times we even had them during the middle of the days...go figure.

I love it when people say oh you're in Mexico, must be hot.

Yeah it is in Acapulco or Ixtapa or Cancun, here it has been in the low40's for over a month and one of the weather reports said we could expect a shower.....huh?

North of the Border you bet, their global warming has dumped one of the worse winters in the eastern states. New York is in the mid teens today with snow showers expected.

California hasn't had much rain in months so all ready it has been declared a state drought emergency, water rationing is in effect in many municipalities.  Our old stomping grounds says that they are declairing a state of emergency with the water drought.
If everyone stopped wasting water like they do NOB, that would surly help.
That's one thing that we have learned to appreciate and regulate our water usage.  The next big crisis in the world is going to be the water wars....you wait , remember that I told you so....
Anyway,
After getting a clean bill of health so to speak, at least as well as it could be, we decided to take off for some road travellin.

The picture above is from one of the destinations we dropped ourselve at. Let me give you a hint.....things are not always what they seem to be.
Take a guess, maybe I'll reveal our destination.
