It's that time of the year again

Yes, time to stock up on things that are purchased around the plaza unless you need to refill your sugar candy stash, your stale Day of the Dead Bread which you kept in the cabinet all year and some other items that you forgot about.
The tanguis is in full swing, same stuff from last year, and the year before and before that, and the year before that.

Ok, there was one vendor that I don't remember seeing last year, they make enamel painted beer cap earrings and matching cuff links.

My wife stopped by Katrinas about 10 years ago, when they were about a third of the price.
The traffic is nutso and they you add a random parade or two, toss in a funeral march and some other display of tradition and gridlock for awhile.

The vendors need the business, unless you have your Katrinas and skull sugar candy, please be sure and come on down for a contribution for the local economy.

Now would be a good time to purchase some puppets for Christmas presents for the relatives that you just can't think of what to get.

It's that or some heavy pottery.

Or perhaps a hollowed out tree stump of Jesus praying on the mound?

Naw, I pass....
